We at Xtraweb WordPress Design & Hosting, have issued a few terms & conditions that need to be followed by our clients & future customers. When you agree to use our services you are legally bound to these terms & conditions.
A security payment/deposit must be paid to Xtraweb WordPress Design & Hosting before any website/project work commences. Depending on the package, we require at least 50% of the full amount before commencing work then the remainder must be paid before the client website goes live.
Our website maintenance payments are due at the beginning of each month, if you want to cancel during the month then that is allowed, however you will be billed for that month. Maintenance packages are only cancelled via written correspondence.
No work will commence without a security payment. (This will be agreed between the two parties)
All work is the property of Xtraweb WordPress Design & Hosting until final payment is paid.
Any extra work required that is not stated in the original brief (agreed by two parties either written or verbal) will be charged as extra work and charged at our hourly rate. This will not be included in the agreed price.
Once we receive full payment for all project work, you now become the owner of the project.
Domain name fees paid for by Xtraweb WordPress Design & Hosting, if applicable, are required each year, failure to pay these fees within 28 days will result in suspension of your website until payment is received.
Your website will not Go Live until you are happy with the results.
Once payment has been received then that completes our contract, under no circumstances will a refund be issued. We can not issue a refund or partial refund for any reason.
If you wish to take control of your website, and edit it yourself, then we are not liable for errors occurring and these will be fixed by hourly rate, alternatively please ask about maintenance after care plans.
Xtraweb WordPress Design & Hosting reserves the right to refuse service to any website that contains offensive, obscene, hateful, malicious content or for any other reason.
Our website maintenance payments are due at the end of each month, if you want to cancel during the month you can, it’s very simple. However you will be billed for that month.
EXTRA WORKS – PLEASE NOTE:
If you go over your monthly contract fee by requesting more than basic changes to your website verbally or via phone/email or text you will be billed at the higher rate for that month only.
E.g. Contacting Google Maps or Google For Business, extra pages, removal and changes of previous information or images, SEO requests more than the basic.
Maintenance packages are only cancelled via written correspondence.
If you decide to change your web hosting to another company we take no responsibility for your loss of Google position or the website working as it did on our hosting (which should not happen with a competent company). We use our own XTRATHEMES, and it is likely that your new web company use a different theme builder (as there are many) and our/your theme may not function the same, and will more than likely not. We take no responsibility for this process, the loss of data or position is entirely yours.
Overall, WordPress is a secure CMS, (Content Management System) but because it’s open-source, it suffers from various critical vulnerabilities. We take all the necessary steps for your WordPress security, which is simple when you take the right steps. But we cannot guarantee anything 100%.
XTRAWEB will not and cannot be liable for any loss of data or downtime for your site being hacked. The MAXIMUM liability for loss of content, inconvenience, lost revenue, daily, weekly , monthly or yearly on going, or any site down time is €0.
