The Rola Colas – Independent Creative Project.
NOTE* AI is a powerful creative tool, but it doesn’t always get things right. Effective use comes from understanding its capabilities and limitations, refining prompts, and developing a consistent workflow that allows the technology to support, rather than replace, the creative process.
The Rola Colas is an independent music and multimedia project I created to explore how music, visual design, video, branding and emerging AI technology can be brought together as one creative concept.
I write the songs and develop the overall creative direction, then use a combination of my own “recorded one time” vocals, music production tools and AI technology to experiment with different sounds and production ideas. I also create the artwork, branding, website, videos and promotional content around the project.
The project allows me to develop an idea from concept → music → visual identity → artwork → video → web → social content, effectively creating and managing a complete multimedia brand from the ground up.
